Please mark your calendars! The 2024 DFL caucuses are on Tuesday, February 27th at 6:30pm. It is an honor to represent District 61A in the Minnesota House of Representatives and I will once again be seeking DFL party endorsement.

I am running for re-election to continue improving the lives of Minnesota residents. Our task in 2024 is to defend and implement the transformative changes we made last session that make Minnesota a better place to live, work and raise a family. 

I am proud to have played a role in the historic 2023 legislative session, where our DFL trifecta passed long-held progressive priorities including:

• Paid family and medical leave

• A 100 percent clean energy standard

• Codification of reproductive freedom

• Large investments in infrastructure, education, and health care

• Expansion and protection of voting rights

• Promotion of affordable housing

• Resources for public safety and preventing gun violence

• Protection of LGBTQ rights

All of these transformative actions were the result of many years of strong grassroots organizing throughout the state. I deeply appreciate all of your activism that helped make these wins possible.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to ensuring economic opportunity for all, a bold response to the climate crisis, continued progress on addressing racial justice, human rights, and protecting our fragile democracy.

I invite you to join our people-powered campaign to turn out the vote and protect democracy in this most crucial 2024 election! Together we can get out the vote in our district and protect key DFL gains in suburban districts. Please find our volunteer form at the bottom of this letter.

Your financial support will help us spread the word and recruit the volunteers needed to ensure DFL victories in 2024. I am participating in Minnesota's Political Contribution Refund Program. Your contribution of $75 per individual, or $150 per couple, will be refunded to you.
